Homemade acoustic music was essential in the lives of early settlers in the region. Students must bring their own acoustic guitars to the class. This basket is a variation on an Adirondack Pack Basket. The Pack Basket is one of the oldest surviving traditions inside the Adirondack Park. The Art Devlin Cup, symbolic of ski jumping excellence over three competitions, will be up for grabs, Thursday, Dec. 30, in Lake Placid, N.Y. when the Olympic Jumping Complex hosts the 56th Annual New Year&#8217;s Masters Ski Jump.
